Wild Thyme & Honey

Hotel in Cirencester

Featuring a terrace, bar and views of river, Wild Thyme & Honey is located in Cirencester, 7.3 miles from Cotswold Water Park. I liked everything about this hotel Is beautiful clean ,cosy , warm. We had the suite with the bath inside and the river view and was so beautiful clean and cosy. The hotel have an amazing indoor and outdoor garden both with fireplaces and so beautifully decorated. The dinner pods next to the river where so romantic and beautiful as well. One of my favourite hotels so far. Breakfast was so good as well

The Seagrave Arms

Hotel in Weston Subedge

Located in Weston Subedge and with Royal Shakespeare Theatre reachable within 11 miles, The Seagrave Arms provides express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout... Really enjoyable stay. We were made to feel really welcome and the room was super, with a comfy four poster bed and large separate bathroom. The room was really clean with lovely decor. We loved the small bar area downstairs with a roaring fire. Also had a three course dinner in the restaurant Saturday night. Food was more than a cut above normal pub fayre (think smaller, beautifully presented portions and very high quality ingredients)- for example I had guineau fowl. All the food was delicious, as was the cooked breakfast the next morning. To cap it off, we were offered walking maps and walked to Chipping Camden and Dover's Hill direct from the Hotel - with the offer of being picked up if we got lost!

Lords Of The Manor

Hotel in Upper Slaughter

Formerly a 17th-century rectory, Lords of the Manor is set in 8 acres of secluded gardens and parkland. The idyllic location; the beautifully landscaped grounds; the professional, friendly, attentive staff; the quality food and beverage (bonus points for being able to get cappuccinos); the multitude of places to sit and enjoy the property, both inside and out; the pleasant mile or so ramble from the property down to Lower Slaughter, which offers two options for dining/drinks; the feeling of quiet and seclusion yet only 5-15 minutes from towns with shops- the best of all worlds.
